When prompted to sing, Hema performed a few solo lines before humorously asking the photographers to use footage from their album instead, joking that it might ruin her impression.

She then joined the other singers on stage for a collective performance.

In another video from the event, the veteran actress was seen assisting 86-year-old flautist Hariprasad Chaurasia by gently holding his arm as they posed for photos. Hema's quick help ensured Chaurasia, who was facing some difficulty, could comfortably participate in the event.

Hema, who has taken a break from films in recent years, last appeared in the 2020 release Shimla Mirchi, which had been in production for several years.
