These adjustments apply to single-shift and double-shift schools across the state and will take effect based on seasonal variations.
The notification, posted online by Haryana Chief Minister on the social media platform X, specifies distinct timings for summer and winter periods, addressing the needs of students and faculty by providing different operational hours depending on whether the school operates in a single shift or a double shift.

Important Instructions for the Current Academic Session
- For the 2024–25 winter session, schools operating in the second shift of double-shift schedules will follow a temporary timing from November 12, 2024. During this period, the second shift will operate from 12:40 PM to 5:15 PM.
- The revised timings mentioned in Table-2 will be implemented permanently from the next academic session, 2025–26.
- Seasonal adjustments for the second shift of double-shift schools will continue from October 15 to February 15 every year, according to the winter schedule.
