Celebrity photographer
Avinash Gowariker recently spoke about his bond with Salman Khan and recalled a moment when he turned down a magazine’s offer to pay him a huge amount for exclusive pictures of the actor. He revealed that even though he was struggling financially at that time, he respected Salman's privacy — a gesture that helped him build a strong bond with the actor.
Avinash about his work ethics
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Avinash shared that he has never compromised on his work ethics. “I’ve never done n**de shoots. I’ve never done bikini or lingerie shoots in my life. I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, and if you ask me why, I honestly don’t know,” he stated. The photographer added that he never found comfort in those things.

Avinash’s professionalism helped strengthen his bond with Salman. During a period when Salman was deliberately distancing himself from the media, many people attempted to take his pictures and circulated them without his permission. The 'Tiger 3' actor used to agree to photoshoots on the condition that the images would not be published or shared. But photographers broke their promises by circulating them, which hurt Salman deeply. At that time, the actor — who disliked such behaviour from professionals — asked him never to leak his pictures, and he has respected that request to this day.
Financial issues
During his early days, Avinash faced tempting offers that could have significantly improved his financial situation. “Back then, I was struggling, and many magazines offered me a lot of money for those photos — money that would have made a big difference in my life. But I refused. If Salman put his trust in me and said not to share them, I wasn’t going to betray that trust,” he concluded.
Avinash also spoke about the importance of valuing relationships and friendships, which, he said, should always be built on honesty.
