Govinda to be discharged tomorrow at noon

gave fans a sigh of relief after visiting her husband at

Criticare Hospital

on Thursday, following his accidental gunshot injury. The 60-year-old actor, who sustained a bullet wound in his leg from a revolver misfire on Tuesday, is expected to be discharged on Friday at noon.
Speaking to the media gathered outside the hospital,

He will get discharged tomorrow at noon.” She expressed her gratitude, saying, “I would like to thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. It is because of your good wishes that he got better quickly. I am so happy that we got the news of his discharge on the first day of

Navaratri

.”
Sunita revealed that she had been praying for his quick recovery and returned from performing a pooja for him. She reassured fans that Govinda, known for his iconic roles in Bollywood, is in much better condition and would greet them after being discharged.

Govinda was hospitalized after accidentally shooting himself in the foot while cleaning his revolver, a result of a malfunction with the gun's lock. The actor underwent surgery on Tuesday and was moved to a regular ward on Wednesday as his condition improved.
Several Bollywood stars, including Raveena Tandon, David Dhawan, Shatrughan Sinha, and Rajpal Yadav, visited Govinda at the hospital to wish him well.

Fans can now look forward to seeing the beloved actor meet them outside the hospital on Friday, as Sunita confirmed his plans to greet the paparazzi after his discharge.
