GATE COAP schedule 2025: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has released the schedule for the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) 2025, which facilitates admissions to Master of Technology (MTech) programmes and recruitment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Registration for COAP 2025 will begin soon on the official website.
Candidates with a valid GATE score from 2025 or the previous two years are eligible to participate. To secure admission into MTech programmes or apply for positions in PSUs, candidates must submit separate applications to each participating institution or organisation. Some of the prominent institutions involved include IISc Bangalore and several Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), such as IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, and many others.
The COAP 2025 admission process consists of multiple rounds, offering candidates choices such as “Accept and Freeze,” “Retain and Wait,” or “Reject and Wait.” The “Retain and Wait” option can be used only twice for the same offer between rounds one and four. Round five is a decisive phase, allowing only “Accept and Freeze” or “Reject” options. Beyond this, rounds six to ten are considered independent decision-making rounds with similar options available.
