Former DGP passes away at city hosp

Jaipur Rajendra Shekhar, an Indian Police Service officer, died on Monday while undergoing treatment at a private hospital. He had worked in different capacities in Rajasthan Police and the CBI, including as the Director General of Police and Director of the latter. His last rites were performed at a cremation ground in presence of many retired and in service police officers. The Rajasthan Cadre Officer dealt with highprofile cases like the Bofors scandal and the murder of former Army Chief General AK Vaidya Retd.
