Meanwhile, on the LED screen in the background, a montage featuring Deepika's pictures with individuals such as Siddhartha Mallya, Sushant Singh Rajput, Yuvraj Singh, and others is displayed.

The video appears to ridicule or discuss Deepika and her romantic relationships, causing concern among fans that it amounts to character assassination by the individuals who presented the skit during the event.

As soon as the video made its way onto social media, her fans jumped in her defense. Fans have strongly criticized the university participants for their treatment of the 'Fighter' actress. They have condemned the act as character assassination and have raised concerns about the involvement of religious and personal aspects in the matter. Some fans have gone as far as calling for stringent action against those responsible for the skit.

While one called the act, 'shameful', others wrote, 'unacceptable' on the post. A user also wrote, 'Reminded me of AIB roast'. A fanclub of Deepika also commented, 'This behaviour getting normalised in a university shows university is filled with future molestors, incels, abusers and sexist men. God bless their mother and sisters.'
