During Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Test, when the ‘Perfect’ singer was figuratively pointed a gun at with multiple wires attached to him, Ed disclosed the secret. The 34-year-old was asked whether he had been invited to Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding. Not only did he say ‘Yes,’ the British singer went on to say that he has already RSVP’d on behalf of himself and his wife, Cherry Seaborn.

As the interview evolved, when Ed Sheeran was asked about his favourite track on the duo’s album, ‘I Said I Love You First,’ he stated that he hasn’t listened to it yet.
“I’ve got to be honest, I bought it on vinyl and I want to listen to it on vinyl. I haven’t listened to it all the way through,” he stated. The trio - Ed, Selena, and Benny - goes way back in time. Benny Blanco, in fact, attended Ed Sheeran’s intimate wedding of 40 people in January 2018, and has collaborated with each other multiple times, which led to the songs that charted the lists. Ed is familiar with Selena Gomez through his friendship with Taylor Swift.

Well, with the information that a wedding date exists, the internet is meant to go into frenzy, as previously, they have denied revealing any plans. In a joint interview with Rolling Stone during the album’s release, the couple casually stated that they weren’t in a rush to get married. “I think every day she’s planned a new wedding in her head. We’re very much ‘take it one day at a time’-type of people. We’re still not over this moment. Literally, while you were talking, she was sitting there staring at her ring,” Benny stated.
