And despite all the adulation and milestones, Shah Rukh believes he has no right to ask for more. “If today I ask for anything from Him, then I'll be being greedy. And I'm sure even He( God) will just change the channel and say, this guy, what else does he want?” he quipped with characteristic wit.Today, Shah Rukh chooses gratitude over demands. “I dont think I should ask anything from God. I should just now thank Him and work hard towards the fact that I've been given so much — whether it's my mother's blessings, God's doing, or the audience's love. But now I should just make that my existence is worthwhile of all the blessings that I’ve been given.
