NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for the Senior School Certificate Examination 2024. The exams commence on February 15, 2024, with subjects ranging from Entrepreneurship to Capital Market Operation. The schedule includes a variety of subjects like Biotechnology, Dance forms, Hindi, English, and more.
The examinations will commence at 10:30 AM (1ST), providing a standardized start time for all exams.

CBSE Date Sheet 2024: For Class 10th the main exams will commence on February 19, 2024, with Sanskrit, followed by Hindi on February 21, 2024. English will be held on February 26, 2024 and Science on March 2, 2024. Home Science is scheduled for March 4, 2024 followed by Social Science on March 7, 2024. The last two exams are Mathematics on March 11, 2024 and Information Technology on March 13, 2024.

CBSE Board Exam 2024: CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet for Important Subjects

As per the CBSE Class 12th Science Date Sheet 2024, the schedule kicks off on February 22, 2024, with English paper followed by Chemistry on February 27, 2024. Physics takes center stage on March 4, 2024 followed by Mathematics on March 9, 2024. Physical Education is slated for March 12, 2024 and Biology on March 19, 2024. The final exam for Computer Science is scheduled for April 2, 2024.

CBSE Class 12th Date Sheet 2024: Humanities (Arts) Stream (Main Subjects)

According to the CBSE Class 12th Humanities Date Sheet 2024, examinations commence on February 19, 2024 with the Hindi Elective and Hindi Core papers; followed by English on February 22, 2024. Core Humanities subjects such as Geography, Political Science, Economics, History and Sanskrit core are scheduled for the month of March 2024. The Sociology paper is scheduled for April 1, 2024.

In formulating the schedule, CBSE has ensured ample time gaps between subjects typically offered by students in both classes. The board also took into consideration competitive exams, such as JEE Main, when preparing the date sheet for Class XII.
An important aspect of the planning involved avoiding over 40,000 subject combinations. This measure ensures that no two subjects' examinations for a student fall on the same date, minimizing scheduling conflicts.
