Central Bank of India Recruitment 2024: The Central Bank of India, one of the leading public sector banks of India, had opened the application window for 3000 apprentice positions on 21st February 2024. The deadline for registration had closed on 6th March. However, the application window re-opened on 6th June with the last date of registration being scheduled for 17th June.
The tentative date for this recruitment exam is 23rd June 2024.
“Attention is invited to notification dated 21.02.2024 where in applications were invited from the eligible candidates for the engagement of 3000 apprentices. It is now decided by the bank to re-open the application window for the engagement of Apprentices from 6 th June to 17th June 2024. Application window is also re-open for eligible candidates who has earlier registered but couldn’t pay the fees,” reads the official notice. Read the official notice here.
CBI Recruitment 2024: Age Criteria
Candidates applying for the apprentice positions should be born between 01.04.1996 to 31.03.2004. However, the upper age limit has been relaxed for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD categories, as per the Government of India guidelines.

CBI Apprentice 2024 Eligibility: Educational Qualification
Prospective applicants need to hold a bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university or an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Central Government. Furthermore, their graduation must have been completed after March 31, 2020.

CBI Apprentice 2024: Selection Procedure, Stipend and Other Important Details
Applicants will go through a selection procedure involving an online written examination and verification of proficiency in the local language. The written exam will include Quantitative Aptitude, General English, Reasoning Ability, Computer Knowledge, Basic Retail Liability Products, Basic Retail Asset Products, Basic Investment Products, and Basic Insurance Products. The apprenticeship duration is set at twelve months, with stipends differing according to branch type. Stipends range from Rs 15,000 per month for Rural/Semi-Urban branches to those in Urban and Metro areas.
Chosen candidates will receive their engagement offers digitally via the bank's apprenticeship portal. The apprenticeship training period will officially begin from the training start date specified in the contract.
