maintained his top position among
Test bowlers
in the latest ICC player rankings. Bumrah achieved this milestone after becoming the fastest
Indian pacer
to reach over 150 wickets in Test cricket during the India-England Test match in Visakhapatnam.
There was a change at the top of the Test batsmen rankings, with New Zealand's Kane Williamson taking the top spot after scoring centuries in the first Test against South Africa.
In the Test all-rounders rankings,
Ravindra Jadeja
continues to hold the top position, while Kyle Jamieson climbed to 13th place.
In T20 cricket, the batting rankings witnessed significant changes after the series between Australia and West Indies. Glenn Maxwell, Tim David, and
David Warner
moved up to 24th, 27th, and 36th places, respectively. Rovman Powell and Johnson Charles also featured in the rankings at the 25th and 38th spots.
Among T20 bowlers, Adam Zampa climbed to 11th place, just behind England's Adil Rashid. Marcus Stoinis, an Australian all-rounder, secured the second spot in the T20I all-rounders rankings.
Shakib Al Hasan
lost his number one spot in the ODI all-rounder rankings due to a back injury, and Mohammad Nabi claimed the top position after his remarkable 136-run innings against Sri Lanka in the first ODI.
Nabi also rose to the seventh position in the ODI bowlers rankings. Keshav Maharaj continued to dominate the ODI bowlers rankings, while
Wanindu Hasaranga
and Dilshan Madushanka made gains, reaching the 26th and 33rd positions, respectively.
In the ODI batsmen rankings, Charith Asalanka moved to the 15th spot following his unbeaten 97-run knock against Afghanistan, while Pathum Nissanka secured the 18th position. Sadeera Samarawickrama climbed six places to 41st after a stylish half-century.
