Blake Lively pressured Taylor Swift to DELETE text messages claims Justin Baldoni's legal team

The legal feud between Blake Lively and '

It Ends With Us

' actor and director, Justin Baldoni, is showing no signs of slowing down, with new court filings dragging Pop superstar Taylor Swift into the drama. Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman, according to US Weekly, has claimed that Lively allegedly pressured Swift to 'delete' personal text messages and discouraged her from cooperating with a subpoena. According to court documents obtained by the portal, Freedman alleges that one of Lively’s attorneys also attempted to coerce the singer into publicly supporting Lively, threatening to leak private messages if Swift refused.“These actions reflect an attempt to intimidate and coerce a percipient witness in this litigation,” Freedman claimed. However, it must be noted that no evidence supporting these assertions was included in the court filing. In the latest update, Lively’s legal team has now sought to have the claims involving Swift stricken from the court record. Us Weekly confirmed that in a motion filed this week, Lively’s attorneys described allegations from Baldoni’s legal team as “baseless” and lacking any evidentiary support.

“This is categorically false,” said Lively’s attorney

Mike Gottlieb

in a statement. “We unequivocally deny all of these so-called allegations, which are cowardly sourced to supposed anonymous sources, and completely untethered from reality.”“It should be unnecessary to respond to anonymously sourced, baseless allegations recklessly levelled without any supporting evidence,” the filing reads. “It is worth stating for the record, however, that each of the allegations in the Freedman Letter is unequivocally and demonstrably false.”Gottlieb went further, accusing Baldoni’s legal team of misconduct and vowing to seek sanctions. The subpoena issued to Swift earlier this month is reportedly an attempt to uncover whether the singer supported Lively’s actions during the production dispute. Swift has not yet publicly commented on the case or defended Lively in any manner. The controversy stems from an ongoing legal battle between Lively and Baldoni following their collaboration on the 2024 film It Ends With Us. Lively, who starred in and executive produced the film, filed a lawsuit against Baldoni earlier this year, accusing him of sexual harassment, fostering a hostile work environment, and attempting to damage her professional reputation.Baldoni has denied the allegations and countersued for $400 million in a

defamation suit

targeting both Lively and her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds.
