AP SET 2024: Online application begins today at apset.net.in; check important dates and exam pattern

AP SET 2024 registration: The

Andhra University Visakhapatnam

is set to commence the online registration round for

Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test

(AP SET) 2024, on its official website at apset.net.in.
The application begins today, i.e February 14, 2024 and will go on till March 6, 2024. However, candidates will be able to register till March 30 with late registration fee of Rs 2,000 or Rs 5,000.

According to the schedule, hall tickets will be made available by April 19, 2024 and the exam is scheduled for April 28, 2024.
The Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test is administered annually to postgraduate candidates seeking positions as Assistant Professors and Lecturers in the state's colleges and universities.
AP SET 2024 exam pattern

The AP SET 2024 exam consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I, common to all subjects, tests teaching and research aptitude with 50 compulsory objective-type questions (2 marks each) in one hour. This paper is bilingual (English and Telugu) for most subjects, except Hindi, Sanskrit, Telugu, and Urdu.
Paper II, specific to your chosen subject, dives deeper with 100 objective-type questions (2 marks each) in two hours. It's entirely English except for Commerce, Economics, Education, History, Political Science, Public Administration, and Sociology, which offer a Telugu option.
