Anurag clears casting rumours on Aashiqui 3

broke the internet recently, after their pictures from a 'dinner date' surfaced on social media. The duo were papped in the city, which also sparked dating rumours. Later, fans speculated that this could be a promotional tactic for Kartik's movie Aashiqui 3, and Tara might have come on board as the leading lady of the movie.

However, according to a report in

Hindustan Times

, this is not true.

When the publication reached out to Anurag Basu, who is helming the movie, he said that the female lead of the film has not been finalised yet and that everything out there is speculation. He even added that Tara has not been roped in for the same.
Meanwhile, Tara teased her social media followers with a cryptic note, that later turned out to be for her movie Apurva. “Something I’ve been waiting to share with you is on its way to soon becomes yours! A piece of my heart and the toughest, most rewarding work I’ve done. More details soon…” Tara wrote.
