The Alcatel brand is returning to the smartphone market, and its first product launch is just around the corner. The phone called the Alcatel V3 Ultra 5G will mark the revival, confirmed Madhav Sheth, Founder of Alcatel India.

The executive, who is also the head of HTech India (Honor's local partner), posted a photo on social media that reveals the name of the device along with the retail box of the phone.

According to the post, he was tasked with selecting the appropriate box, and he chose the Black with yellow accents that says "Born in France, now in India." Alcatel phones will be manufactured and sold by NxtCell, an Indian entity that holds the naming rights and aims to market the phones as “100% Made in India” products.

We can see that various shades of blue were also considered for the box colors, and on one of the other boxes, there is an image of a phone without a punch hole for the selfie camera. It's unclear if that just sits in the upper right corner or the Alcatel V3 Ultra 5G will have an under-display front camera. The selected box also confirms three cameras and an LED flash at the back.

The official revealed that Padget Electronics, a subsidiary of Dixon Technologies, will serve as the official manufacturer for NxtCell India to produce smartphones for the Alcatel brand.

The V3 Ultra name raises expectations for Alcatel but also some important questions. The most obvious one is if the V1 and V2 series will also be released; we also can't help but wonder if the Ultra will be joined by Pro, Plus or standard variants.
