Struggling to cope, he revealed that he turned to alcohol for the first time that night—and the habit continued for the next one and a half years.The actor also revealed how loneliness consumed him after Reena left, recalling a particularly dark moment. With no one around and unsure of what to do, he said he opened a bottle of alcohol and finished it entirely.

What began as a one-time escape turned into a pattern—he drank every night for the next one and a half years. “I wouldn’t sleep,” he said, “I’d just pass out.”Aamir further shared a touching moment when Juhi Chawla unexpectedly reached out to him, despite not having spoken for seven years. She called and said she wanted to visit, and Aamir agreed. When she arrived, Juhi told him she had read about his separation from Reena and, without prying into details, urged him to patch things up.
