Through the years, several Bollywood actresses, including Kiara Advani, Katrina Kaif, and Hema Malini, have encountered harrowing near-death experiences that have tested their resilience. We've collated a list of FIVE actresses who spoke about coming very close to losing their lives.

Sharing one of her harrowing experiences, Kiara told Cosmopolitan India in an interview that when she was in college, her batchmates and she went to McLeod Ganj in Dharamshala, where they got stuck in the hotel for four days without any water or electricity. The region had received heavy snowfall, and the temperature was below zero; even their bonfire was about to be extinguished soon.

The actress added that on the last night, the chair in her room caught fire. Luckily, one of her friends woke up in time and screamed. They all jumped out of the bed and managed to call the teachers, who broke the door open. Kiara stated that it was quite traumatising. However, that was the day they all decided to just be grateful.

Katrina Kaif recalled being on a chopper once and it suddenly got really turbulent. The actress revealed that the chopper, all of a sudden, started plunging down. At that moment, she admitted that she thought that was the end of her life. The actress also remembered that at that moment she was just hoping that her mom was going to be okay.

Malaika Arora was involved in a car accident in 2022. Looking back at that incident, she shared with ETimes, "Sometimes, I still remember that night; I had two prayers in my heart. I didn't want to lose my life that night, and I didn't want to lose my eyesight. After the accident, I kept asking for my mother and my son, Arhaan."

Not many know that Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber had almost lost their lives in a plane crash. Yes, you read that right! After surviving the plane crash, Sunny had tweeted, “The reason I’m acting so happy cause everyone else is all freaked out! Gotta cheer them up. Thank the Lord we are all alive! Our private plane almost crashed through bad weather. Counting our stars and driving home! Thank you God! Have to thank the pilots 4doing such an amazing job through & alive.
